Laser Marking Correction & Date Code Rework
Laser rework is useful when a part has already been manufactured correctly but the identification, date code, lot information, or other marking needs to be changed.
Depending on the material and application, existing information can often be cancelled, modified, or covered with a controlled laser process before the correct information is applied.
This can be useful for:

Contamination & Residue Rework
Parts affected by adhesive, machining residue, grease, coatings, polishing compound, or other contamination may require a combination of cleaning and manual rework before they can return to production.
Depending on the application, the process may include ultrasonic cleaning, chemical assisted cleaning, solvent treatment, manual detail cleaning, residue removal, or surface preparation.
This is especially useful for contamination trapped in threads, grooves, blind holes, recessed areas, and other complex geometry.
Batch Rework & Production Support
PrimeCore Precision supports one off corrections as well as larger batch rework projects.
For larger quantities, a sample or first article can be processed before full production begins. Once the process is approved, custom fixturing and repeatable workflows can be used to improve consistency throughout the batch.

Expedited Rework
