Frequently Asked Questions
Is laser stippling permanent?
Yes. Laser stippling permanently modifies the polymer surface to create a durable textured grip.
Can colored frames be stippled?
Yes. Keep in mind that laser engraving removes material and may alter the appearance of colored polymer. This is normal and varies by manufacturer and frame color.
Can I mail my frame to you?
Yes. We accept eligible mail-in projects from customers throughout the United States. Contact us before shipping to receive instructions.
Will stippling affect reliability?
When performed correctly, laser stippling affects only the exterior grip surfaces and does not impact the firearm's mechanical function.
Can I provide my own design?
Absolutely. We can engrave many customer-supplied patterns, logos, unit insignias, and custom artwork, or work with you to create a completely original design.

Whether you carry daily, compete, train regularly, or simply want a more secure grip, laser stippling provides a consistent, professional texture that outperforms the factory finish. Undercuts, double undercut, accelerator cut and thumb grooves would be an additional charge.
At PrimeCore Precision, every frame is programmed and engraved using professional fiber laser equipment to produce clean, repeatable results with sharp detail and consistent depth. Important Information
Laser stippling is a permanent modification to the firearm frame. Texture selection is largely a matter of personal preference, and more aggressive patterns may accelerate wear on clothing or skin during concealed carry. While every effort is made to produce a clean, professional appearance, slight variations in polymer color and finish may occur depending on the factory frame color and material. You are welcome to mail in or drop off if you are local. If you mail in, please be sure to include a copy of your Driver’s License in the box. Return shipping starts at $15.
Please ensure your firearm is unloaded before bringing it in for service. Customers are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding firearm possession and transportation.
Enhance the ergonomics of your Glock with a professionally machined trigger guard undercut. Available for most Glock Gen 3, Gen 4, and Gen 5 pistols, this modification allows your firing hand to sit higher on the frame for improved comfort, better recoil management, and increased control during rapid strings of fire.
By raising your grip position, a trigger guard undercut helps reduce perceived muzzle rise while relieving pressure on the middle finger caused by the factory trigger guard. Whether your Glock is used for concealed carry, competition, range use, or duty, this simple modification provides a noticeable improvement in both comfort and handling.
Each frame is precisely machined and hand-finished to create a smooth, clean appearance while preserving the factory look as much as possible. Additional frame modifications and grip enhancements can be performed at the same time to create a setup tailored to your preferences.
Benefits
Higher, more secure grip on the pistol
Improved recoil control and muzzle management
Faster, more consistent follow-up shots
Reduced pressure and discomfort on the middle finger
Clean, professional hand-finished appearance
Compatible with most Glock Gen 3, Gen 4, and Gen 5 frames
Important Information
Trigger guard undercutting is a permanent modification to the firearm frame. On factory black Glock frames, the finished area typically blends well with the surrounding polymer. On colored frames, including FDE, Coyote, Gray, OD Green, and other non-black variants, the machining process will expose the underlying polymer and permanently alter the color of the modified area. This is a normal characteristic of the material and should be expected. Every frame is machined with precision to provide the cleanest possible finished appearance.
PrimeCore Precision provides professional ATF-compliant NFA engraving for Form 1 firearms, SBRs, SBSs, suppressors, and other NFA-regulated items. Using a high-precision fiber laser, we produce permanent, clean, and highly legible markings that meet federal depth and marking requirements while preserving the appearance of your firearm whenever possible. Mail in services are available.
We engrave individual names, trust names, city and state information, manufacturer markings, serial numbers, and other required identifiers on steel, aluminum, titanium, and many other firearm materials. We also accept shipped firearms, suppressors, and other eligible components for engraving from customers and FFLs, making it easy to have your NFA item engraved even if you're outside the Metro Detroit area.
Every engraving is carefully placed for a factory-quality appearance with fast turnaround times and meticulous attention to detail. All work is performed by a licensed 07 FFL / 02 SOT in accordance with applicable federal and Michigan laws.
